He has the Kanji character “忠” on his name. This word means dedication and allegiance. And, of course, he was a person of loyalty.
Honda Tadakatsu is also known about “Tokugawa 4 Guardians”. He went to 57 battle fields in his whole life, but he was never injured, not even once. He never gave up in any difficult situation. All Japanese soldiers were afraid of his strongness. And his Samurai armor was also famous as well, because it has a beautiful black color and looks very cool.
Deer Horn Helmet
One day, “Honda Tadakatsu ” and his boss “Tokugawa Ieyasu ” met an amazing deer on the way back to their home castle after the battle. Accidentally, they couldn’t go forward because of the raging stream. At that time, the gentle deer showed him the way to the safety zone. Thanks to wise deer, they all could get back to their castle.
Since he was very impressed by this beautiful animal, he decided to make his samurai helmet with some deer horn. Isn’t it a really fantastic story?

This is a different kind of crispy to Shrimp Tempura. “Ebi-Fry” is more crunchy and crispy, because it is battered into Panko crumbs(milled bread flakes). This fantastic menu goes well with tartar sauce or regular Worcester sauce.
